Shortly after the NOI due date, you will be contacted by the Office of the Vice President for Research regarding whether a full internal competition will be necessary for this opportunity. If a competition is required, we will ask that pre-proposals be submitted by the advertised pre-proposal due date. Generally speaking, pre-proposals should be completed as per the Guidelines for Internal Screening of Applications for Limited Submissions, however some competitions have specific requirements that differ from these general guidelines. The email you receive inviting a pre-proposal will contain specific details about what is required for this competition.
